{"id":2129,"date":"2014-09-30T15:59:06","date_gmt":"2014-09-30T19:59:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/consigli.wpengine.com\/?p=2129"},"modified":"2020-12-09T11:06:10","modified_gmt":"2020-12-09T16:06:10","slug":"kirchhoff-consigli-construction-management-breaks-ground-30-million-new-residence-hall-mercy-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.consigli.com\/kirchhoff-consigli-construction-management-breaks-ground-30-million-new-residence-hall-mercy-college\/","title":{"rendered":"Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management Breaks Ground for $30 Million New Residence Hall at Mercy College"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>DOBBS FERRY, NY \u2013<\/strong> Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management (KCCM) of Pleasant Valley, along with architect Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc., broke ground on Friday, September 19<sup>th<\/sup> for a new 100,000 square-foot student residence hall at Mercy College\u2019s Dobbs Ferry campus.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to providing much needed student housing, the four-story, 350-bed apartment-style residence hall will add significantly to the student experience on campus, with dining, fitness facilities and commons with shops.\u00a0 Construction will also include extensive site work and utility upgrades. Completion is scheduled for fall 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to be a part of the creation of a new campus center marking the beginning of a new chapter for Mercy College,\u201d said Mark Zych, KCCM Project Executive.<\/p>\n<p>KCCM is also currently managing construction of the first phase of Pace&#8217;s Master Plan for its Pleasantville campus and the renovation and addition of the Student Recreation Center at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.\u00a0 Other higher education projects recently completed by KCCM include the renovation of Mount St. Mary\u2019s Dominican Center in Newburgh and the Culinary Institute of America\u2019s new Marriott Pavilion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2131 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.consigli.com\/ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Mercy_evnt_0922_062.jpg?_t=1491224473\" width=\"534\" height=\"329\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DOBBS FERRY, NY \u2013 Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management (KCCM) of Pleasant Valley, along with architect Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc., broke ground on Friday, September 19th for a new 100,000 square-foot student residence hall at Mercy College\u2019s Dobbs Ferry campus.
