The survey measures employee opinions about their company\u2019s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small (50-99 employees); medium (100-249 employees); large (250-999 employees); and largest (1,000 or more employees).<\/p>\n<p>Consigli was a strong contender for this award because of its employee-centric benefits plans and company perks, including paid volunteer time, fitness reimbursements, and employee stock ownership plans. The company\u2019s focus on creating a culture of accountability and safety, supporting the health and wellness of its people and their families, and maintaining a healthy work\/life balance also contributed to this recognition.<\/p>\n<p>The rankings in\u00a0<em>Top Places to Work<\/em>\u00a0are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from more than 94,000 employees at 381 Massachusetts companies (a record high).
