Since its founding in 1905, Consigli has grown from a local, family-owned company focused on small commercial work to a fifth-generation, leading construction manager with 13 regional offices in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Caribbean and more than 1600 employees, all while retaining its strong roots in Milford, MA.

“Though the company has spread its wings geographically and across economic sectors, it has doubled-down on its community support and commitment, delving even deeper into improving the fabric of Central Massachusetts, the place the company and Consigli himself calls home.”

In addition to his work leading Consigli alongside his brother, Matthew, Anthony also prioritizes a commitment to community service and supports many local nonprofits and workforce development organizations throughout Massachusetts such as Working for Worcester, Habitat for Humanity and more. To build on that support, Consigli formed the Consigli Foundation more than 20 years ago, and more recently, grew the company’s volunteer program to provide 24 paid hours.

In its annual recognition of the most influential professionals in Central Massachusetts, the Worcester Business Journal selects 50 individuals who represent significant leadership and impact in the area’s business community and regional economy. It recognizes individuals in the following categories: Banking & Finance, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Advocacy, Health Care, Hospitality & Tourism, Technology, Government and Nonprofits.

Gentilucci joined Consigli nearly 25 years ago after graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and leads the company’s self-performance outfit, which includes more than 650 dedicated tradespeople and craftsmen specializing in areas like carpentry, labor, masonry, millwork and more. His leadership and expertise have supported Consigli’s growth to the largest self-perform construction manager in New England.

An active member of the Worcester community, Gentilucci is on the Working for Worcester Board of Advisors, the Diocese of Worcester Catholic Schools Board and is a volunteer with Why Me & Sherry’s House, which provides no-cost lodging to families while their children receive treatment for cancer in New England area hospitals. He also serves as a Trustee of the Massachusetts Laborers Health and Welfare Fund, which works to ensure that laborers have the resources they need on the job site and beyond.

She also serves on the board of directors at Girls Inc. of Worcester and participates as a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, in hopes of inspiring more young women to pursue their careers in the STEM direction. Gala began his career at Consigli, and over the last seven years has risen to the level of Project Manager. His passion and focus is building efficient and exemplary hospital facilities and he has been involved in some of Consigli’s larger projects. He served as the Project Manager for the creation of a new 78,000 square-foot addition at Milford Regional Medical Center; and more recently helped lead the team on the 2020 campus refresh project at UMass Memorial Hospital which won a prestigious Vista Award for best renovation project from  ASHE (American Society for Health Care Engineering) of the American Hospital Association.

“Ricky is the definition of a go-getter, a quality that is highly valued by clients and those who work with him. Throughout his career he has identified opportunities to use his skillset to insert himself into the roles and responsibilities of a Project Manager and take projects to the next level – more importantly, putting the clients’ needs first,” said Consigli Director of Healthcare & Life Sciences, Brian Hamilton.

Gala is also active in his community through volunteer work. For the past five years he has been actively involved in Working for Worcester, a community initiative designed to better the city’s recreational and family spaces. He is also passionate about teaching and preparing the next generation of STEM leaders, which moved him to get involved with Girls Inc. of Worcester. The non-profit organization’s central goal is empowering and inspiring girls and young women in the opportunities available for them in engineering and construction fields.
