Portland Foreside is a 10-acre, mixed-use development located on Portland’s waterfront, connecting adjacent neighborhoods to the water and reinvigorating six distinct city blocks in the historically significant site. Block 2 is the development’s historic core and is comprised of seven historic buildings, two alleys and two plazas.
Serving as a celebration of Portland’s heritage, one of the seven buildings—the Building 12 Pattern Storehouse—was restored. Built in 1895 to house design and production of wood patterns at the Portland Company, the historic building was relocated and reconstructed to feature restaurant TWELVE on the first floor, tipico casinooffices space on the second and residential units on the third.
LIDAR laser scanning was utilized in pre-construction tipico sports betting appto confirm existing conditions by scanning and cataloging the entire building to ensure meticulous disassembly and rebuild. The building was then deconstructed with each brick of the façade masonry dismantled, cleaned, sorted and relocated for reassembly by Consigli’s own self-perform masons.
